"FASHION IS FOR THE MOMENT, ART IS FOR THE AGES." CECIL TOUCHON
We think in museum time - not in weeks and years but decades and centuries. If we are going to go through the trouble of carefully curating, imaging, uploading and testing images from the Archives to make available for collectors, we want only the very finest prints with the longest lasting inks and materials that are of archival and heirloom quality and by heirloom we mean prints that are loved, cared for, prised and still around generations from now. Our museum exhibition prints will likely and ironically have a longer life than many of the original artworks in the collection since collage artists often use found printed matter which may already be very old, intended for ephemeral use and not intended for longevity as we expect from artworks today. The standards in printing materials and inks that we have today will insure the preservation these images indefinitely into the future.
Our prints are printed with Epson Aqueous inks which are projected to remain fade resistant for two+ centuries. These inks are state of the art archival quality used by museums to print and often exhibit reproductions from their collections often indistinguishable from the originals with the naked eye. However, as with all artworks, they should be displayed in such a way that they are never in direct sunlight which, over the years, can cause damage to any work of art in any medium.
